Your family’s information
Privacy Policy
GoAtIt is a parent-managed learning service. This policy explains what information we use, why we use it and the choices available to families.
Effective and last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the GoAtIt website, family accounts, practice papers, learning guides and related support. GoAtIt currently provides 6th Standard learning resources and is designed to be set up and supervised by an adult parent or legal guardian.
The adult who signs up is the account holder. A child should not create an account independently or send us personal information. By creating an account for family use, the adult confirms that they are authorised to supervise the child’s use and consent to the processing described here on the child’s behalf where consent is required.
2. Information we collect
Account information
We collect the parent or guardian’s email address, account identifier and information needed to sign in, verify the account and recover access. Passwords and verification are handled by our authentication provider; GoAtIt does not receive a readable copy of the password.
Practice information
We record papers opened, answers selected, scores, incorrect answers, completion time, attempt dates and related progress information so families can review sessions and see improvement.
Subscription and payment information
When a plan is purchased, we receive information such as the account email, product, subscription or checkout reference, payment status, plan period and cancellation status. Payment details are entered with our payment provider. GoAtIt does not store complete card or bank-account details.
Technical and usage information
We may receive browser and device information, IP address, request logs, security events and page usage. The website also uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the service. Advertising features and personalised advertising signals are disabled.
Messages
If you contact us, we receive the email address and contents of the message so we can respond.
3. Why we use information
- To create, verify, secure and support the family account.
- To deliver practice papers and learning guides and enforce reasonable daily access limits.
- To save attempts, calculate accuracy, show past sessions and support focused practice.
- To process subscriptions, maintain access and respond to payment questions.
- To prevent abuse, diagnose errors, maintain availability and improve content and navigation.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We use information only for a purpose connected with providing and protecting GoAtIt, with consent where required, or where applicable law permits or requires it.
4. Children and parental supervision
GoAtIt’s learning content is intended for children, but the account and commercial relationship are for an adult parent or legal guardian. Please use the parent’s email address and do not enter a child’s full name, school, phone number, photograph, address or other identifying details into the service or support messages.
We do not knowingly sell children’s personal information, show targeted advertising to children or use a child’s practice history for behavioural advertising. If you believe a child has created an account without appropriate parental involvement, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
5. Services that help us operate GoAtIt
We share limited information with service providers only where needed to run the product:
- Amazon Web Services for hosting, account authentication, storage, content delivery, email and operational logs.
- Dodo Payments for checkout, payment processing and subscription management.
- Google Analytics for website traffic measurement with advertising and personalised-ad features disabled.
- ImprovMX and Google email services for receiving and handling messages sent to our public email address.
These providers may process information in India or other countries under their own security, privacy and contractual arrangements. We may also disclose information where law requires it, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep information
Account, practice and subscription information is generally kept while the account is active or while needed to provide review history and paid access. Temporary exam-delivery sessions expire after a short period, and routine application logs are generally retained for 30 days. Some payment, tax, security, dispute or support records may need to be retained longer where law or legitimate operational needs require it.
When an account is deleted, we remove or de-identify information that is no longer required, subject to backup cycles and records we must retain.
7. Security and your choices
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including authenticated access and controlled delivery of paid content. No online service can promise absolute security.
A parent or guardian can ask to access, correct or delete account information, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or raise a privacy concern by emailing us. Withdrawing or deleting information may make account features or saved review history unavailable. We may ask for verification before acting on a request.
The site uses necessary browser storage for signed-in sessions. Analytics currently operates by default; browser privacy controls or blocking tools may limit it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, service providers or law changes. We will publish the updated policy here and change the date above. If a change materially affects how existing account information is used, we will provide an appropriate additional notice.
